Cambodian Deaf Activities 2005

We're still responding to a 60% budget cut for 2005 by the Foreign Ministry of Finland, and today we had another meeting of all the teaching staff from Phnom Penh and the four provinces to explain what will happen with our diminished teaching program. Here Justin Smith, a program advisor, outlines plans for the next six months.

  Today was the last day of work for Ork Chanvirak who has served as our teaching team leader for the last 2½ years. Charlie thanked him for his work and offered a gift, and then Virak spoke to the teaching staff at a small reception for him at the end of the work day.
