Every year representatives of the Finnish Association of the Deaf and of the Deaf Development Program meet to discuss budgets and a plan of action for the coming year.  This year a delegation came from Helsinki to meet with us in Phnom Penh.

Following up on initiatives decided upon at our meetings last year in Montreal, the official Annual Negotiations were preceded by several other meetings. First, there was a morning to introduce the staff of DDP and all our programs to our visitors from Finland and Japan. Then there was a meeting between the Japan Federation of the Deaf and the FAD.  Finally there was a meeting between FAD and Maryknoll. These latter two NGOs are the sponsors supporting the Deaf Development Program.
