Although the delegation from Finland was in Cambodia for six days,
the actual annual negotiations occupied only four days. The other
days were spent in meetings with other groups and finally in some
last-minute shopping before heading home. The meetings were held at
a small resort-type setting on the outskirts of Phnom Penh. That
enabled the local people to get away from the routine interruptions
of the office, but it may have given a false impression of Cambodia
to some of our Finnish visitors!
