Car Washes in Phnom Penh

Probably most of us can remember buying our first car or motorcycle and how much we cared for it, probably washing it every day, fixing the dents and dings, making even waxing it. Cars are still new here in Cambodia and those who have them--often at great sacrifice to themselves and their families--are fastidious about washing them. Car washes have sprung up all over town, employing children and people with no skills who probably make a few cents for every car they wash during a long day.
