Small motorbikes, commonly from 100-125cc, are the major mode of transportation throughout Cambodia. The notion of motorcycle riders may conjure up images of leather suits and motorcycle boots, but the reality is quite different, especially in the footware. Here are some pictures of the feet of some men riding motorcycles in Phnom Penh, with the most common style of footware. (I don't have a thing about feet. It's just that riding on the back of a motorcycle taxi is boring--sometimes I fall asleep while riding!—and I started noticing the feet of people around me when we were stopped in traffic.)
