The bride and bridesmaids pose for a photograph. They were probably cringing because there is a strong taboo in Khmer culture against taking photographs of three people together--the middle one will die--but they probably reluctantly kept quiet because it was a foreigner, who didn't know any better, who was asking for the picture.
