Cooking the Celebration Meal

It was really interesting how those cooking the meal--a core crew of professional caterers assisted by a lot of volunteers from the church--dug a big ditch to facilitate cooking with huge woks.  Tunnels were dug into the side of the ditch and then big holes were dug down from the top to connect with the tunnels.  The big woks filled the holes at ground level while the fires were stoked from the side vents.
